Associate Manager- Packing

Department : Order Fullfilment& Systems

Total year of experience : 12-15 Yrs

Industry : Manufacturing & MNC (Should have a big scope of work)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/, Any Specialization; Diploma In Packaging will be an added advantage (Looking for Regular Degree Program )

Technical Skills: Proficiency in system-SAP (PP,MM,PLM)

Good Communication Skills

Good Advanced Excel Skills

Good Powerpoint Presentation Skills

Preferred hands on experience:

Experience into packing,In depth knowledge of packing, preferably in a manufacturing environment (Heavy Industry)

Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft project.

Ability to work collaboratively with various teams, Experience in working with cross functional teams

JOB Role:

Manage effectively the day to day operation of the packing dept. and team.

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage & shipment.

Analyse and determine all standards for packaging lines and ensure compliance to all schedule for processes and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively.

Maintain and ensure compliance to packaging schedule and assign specific tasks to all employees and monitor all packing equipment's and supplies.

Coordinate with the other departments to monitor everyday activities of units and ensure efficient working of both manufacturing and packaging department and ensure continuous improvement in same.

Manage all work according to packing schedule and maintain an inventory of materials and completion of all projects with required time frame.

Develop team environment in department and resolve all packing issues in coordination with the other department.

Coordinate withmanagerand evaluate all projects and recommend ways to reduce cost and improve quality of all processes and provide necessary training and counselling to employees as per requirement.

Develop and maintain professional relationships with all external vendors and contractors and improve efficiency process through incorporation of new technology.

Utilise process improvements to continually improve operational efficiencies.

Ensure the company’s physical assets (building, equipment, inventory, etc.) are properly controlled, maintained, protected and utilised.

Ensure the highest operational standards are deployed at all times.

Ensure that the performance goals are set and achieved, through the proper execution of performance metrics as it relates to Productivity, Safety, Quality and Customer Service.

Participates in ongoing education to update job knowledge.

Regularly appraise team members and carry out Matches annual performance review at the communicated time.

Recruits, hires, and trains new warehouse employees. Coaches, counsels, schedules and disciplines current warehouse employees as needed by enforcing policies and procedures.
